Influenced by 90s and 2000s club music, Atønal has emerged as one of the rising figures of the Swiss electronic scene thanks to a fiercely effective eclecticism. Moving between UK Garage, Bass Music, electro and house, he tears down genre boundaries in sets that are as sharp as they are unexpected. In recent years, he’s become a regular face in some of Switzerland’s finest clubs and festivals, sharing the stage with both top local talent and heavyweight international artists.
As a producer, he made a name for himself with releases and remixes on labels like Otium Records, Opium Trax, Dee Dee’s Picks and Creaked, along with numerous dubs now resonating far beyond Swiss borders. He is also the co-founder of Breakfast Club Records, a label through which he works to spotlight both the local and international Bass scene via releases, events and radio residencies.
