Luís Afonso is a DJ and music-digging aficionado from Guimarães, in the north of Portugal,
who’s been creatively exploring the thin line between House and Techno for the last four
years.
He finds inspiration by moving through space and time, exploring a wide range of artistic
movements from different eras and places around the world.
With a release on Select Records (“Mist”), he’s been frequently playing for Kokölò Records
(Porto) and Odisseia (Guimarães). He has also performed at iconic Porto clubs such as
Plano B and Pérola Negra, and shared the booth with names like VRIL., Chris Liebing, Anja
Schneider, Tal Fussman, Bruno Schmidt, Craigie Knowes, Baldo and Jasper James.
Afonso approaches the decks with the same mindset he brings to the dancefloor: with an
open mind and a genuine need to see people dance.
