Frank Maeda is a Brazilian DJ and party producer based in Lisbon. His sets move across multi-ethnic and popular rhythms, garage, funk, breakbeats and bass—built for the dancefloor, with familiar sounds given an unexpected twist.
With a background in Brazil’s independent nightlife and club scene, Frank has played venues including Tokyo, Lions and Casa da Luz in São Paulo; Fosfobox and Circo Voador in Rio de Janeiro; and held residencies at Paradis and James in Curitiba. He has also shared lineups with BADBADNOTGOOD, The Internet and Vhoor.
Frank is the creator behind the Seleta parties and the Secretinho no Azeite collective. Now based in Lisbon, he is looking to connect with new audiences, venues, collectives and radio platforms.
