Guest Mix: Phijos
Phijos, the DJ persona and creative alias of Philippus Johan, is the father and co-founder of The Death of Glitter, one of South Africa’s most beloved and infamous queer nightlife collectives. Born in Cape Town and now based in Barcelona, his sets weave through hedonistic high-octane 90s cuts, cheeky international club sounds and nostalgic, pop-soaked delights. Mixing everything from heavy low-end crushers to light and fluffy breezers, he detours through subgenres in house, techno, bass, groove and trance for a tall glass of sleazy euphoria; a lip-smacking seduction 👅
