East Side Radio (“ESR”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. By using our website (esr.li), you consent to the practices described in this policy.
What data we collect. We collect minimal data to operate and improve our service. This includes: (a) analytics data — anonymised page views, referrer information, browser type, and device type collected via Umami, a privacy-focused analytics platform that does not use cookies for cross-site tracking and does not share data with third parties; (b) essential cookies required for the technical functioning of the website; (c) server logs — IP addresses, request timestamps, and requested URLs, retained temporarily for security and diagnostics; and (d) contact information — email addresses you voluntarily provide when reaching out to us.
How we use your data. Analytics data helps us understand how the site is used so we can improve the listening experience. Server logs are used to diagnose technical issues and prevent abuse. Contact information is used solely to respond to your inquiries. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Our infrastructure is hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States) and our streaming data is served via the ControlRoom API — both providers process data in accordance with their own privacy and security commitments.
Data retention and your rights. Analytics data is retained in anonymised form for 12 months. Server logs are retained for 30 days. Email correspondence is retained for the duration of the conversation plus 6 months. You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, or if you have any questions about this policy, contact us at bomdia@eastsideradio.live.
