East Side Radio (“ESR”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — Regulation (EU) 2016/679. This notice describes your rights under GDPR Articles 13–22 and explains how we collect, process, and retain your personal information when you interact with our website and services.

We collect and process the following categories of personal data: (a) email addresses you voluntarily provide when contacting us via the website or email; (b) IP addresses and browsing behaviour collected through our analytics provider (Umami), which operates without third-party trackers and does not share data with advertising platforms; and (c) essential cookies required for the technical operation of the site. We do not sell your data, use advertising trackers, or engage in automated decision-making or profiling.

Your data is retained only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected: analytics data is anonymised and retained for 12 months; email correspondence is kept for the duration of the conversation plus 6 months; cookie data persists according to each cookie’s individual expiration (see our Cookie Policy). You have the following rights under the GDPR: the right to access your data (Article 15), the right to rectification (Article 16), the right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”, Article 17), the right to restrict processing (Article 18), the right to data portability (Article 20), and the right to object to processing (Article 21).
